相貌平平的良太（柄本时生 饰）是一个正奔走在就活战线上的大学生，这天晚上，他在回家的途中遭遇了黑帮火并事件。对射过程中，柳刃组组长柳刃龙一（生瀬胜久 饰）为救乱入的良太而中弹负伤。为了躲避警察的追查，柳刃只得和小弟火野丈治（三浦诚己 饰）一同藏进良太的公寓中。在此期间，绝不苟且每一顿饭的柳刃组长开始用冰箱里的食材做饭，看似平庸的食材一经这位黑道之手，居然迸发出令人胃口大开的美味来。良太惊叹之余，也从柳刃组长那里领悟到不少的人生哲理…… 本片根据福泽彻三的同名原著改编。。Green Wing is an award-winning British sitcom set in the fictional East Hampton Hospital.
