智爱（金南珠 饰）从小的梦想就是能够成为灰姑娘，找到自己心目中的王子。长大后，智爱和名为温达秀（吴志昊 饰）的男子结了婚。智爱满心期待着婚后的幸福生活，然而现实却给予了她狠狠的打击。温达秀尽管长得一表人才，个性却十分懦弱，毫无男子气概，心眼也小得犹如针眼一般。不仅如此，温达秀还是一位无业游民，整天呆在家里无所事事。 智爱决定接受眼前残酷的现实，接受自己永远也不可能变成公主受到王子的宠爱的这一事实。她整理好了心情，一心扑在了家庭之中，奉献了自己的一切。在智爱的帮助下，温达秀总算找到了一份工作，然而，就在这个节骨眼上，智爱学生时代的小跟班杨凤顺（李慧英 饰）出现在了智爱的眼前，而她那意气风发的模样，正是智爱希望自己能够成为的样子。更糟糕的是，智爱的丈夫是温达秀的上司，无奈之下，智爱在嚣张跋扈的杨凤顺面前只得忍气吞声。。为了追求自己的“兔”生意义，年少轻狂的比得踏上了背井离乡的路并成功赢得老江湖巴拿巴的青睐、成为了团伙中的扛把子，怎料却将追随而来的昔日老友们推入死亡陷阱。幡然醒悟后，比得化身“兔界阿汤哥”带领同伴展开海陆空三栖大营救。高空跳伞、水下救援、雪山速滑、快艇追击，无所不能。在这场冒险旅途中，比得收获了友情，理解了亲情，最终实现了自我成长，成为真正的“兔一哥”。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
