为了调查双胞胎哥哥孙小糊的失踪，孙小涂参加了警队的招新考试，却在考试现场卷入警察局长遇刺事件，幸好有一直以灵魂形态存在的哥哥相助才脱险。而局长遇刺事件也牵扯出以著名脑科医生毕安为首的犯罪集团，他们通过移植承载灵魂的虫体实验，企图控制社会高层，从而掌控城市。这个阴谋被小糊以及女友夏冰警督撞破，小糊失踪之谜也随之解开。因为虫体移植会出现吞噬反应，进行了虫体植入手术的小糊和小涂只能活一个，面对毕安的要挟，小涂选择自杀来复活小糊，却被小糊抢先一步射杀了自己的身体来保全小涂。。"Daughters of the Dust" tells the story of a family of African-Americans who have lived for many years on a Southern offshore island, and of how they come together one day in 1902 to celebrate their ancestors before some of them leave for the North. The film is narrated by an unborn child, and ancestors already dead also seem to be as present as the living.。
