He gets his wish, being transformed into a handsome ...。十一集每集一个故事。取材于东野圭吾的短篇小说集《没有犯人的杀人夜》中的11个故事。每集分别由不同的演员来演绎，由“我”（中井贵一 饰）的死衍生出关于死亡的不同解释及其背后的秘密，进而引出每集故事的具体内容。关于死亡的不同解释，主角们能否拨开云雾，最终弄清事物的真相，请跟随“我”的脚步。 十一集的内容分别为：唐泽寿明《别了，教练》、坂口宪二《没有凶手的杀人夜》、松下奈绪《无尽之夜》、观月阿丽莎《Reiko和玲子》、反町隆史《蜜月之旅》、长泽雅美《全是字谜》、户田惠梨香《白色凶器》、三浦春马《小小的恶作剧故事》、广末凉子《结婚报告》、筱原凉子《第二十年的约定》以及铃木京香《再生魔术之女》。。本片改编自尼古拉·果戈里(1809—1852)的早期作品、同名长篇历史小说《塔拉斯·布尔巴》。 小说塑造了哥萨克英雄布尔巴的形象,歌颂了民族解放斗争和人民爱国主义精神。 相同题材曾经由俄罗斯班底在1924年拍摄于德国。本次重拍，由苏联人民演员、乌克兰的鲍格丹·斯图普卡（Bogdan Stupka）扮演哥萨克老英雄塔拉斯·布尔巴，伊戈尔·彼得连科（Igor Petrenko）扮演老英雄的小儿子。。
