“The Afterparty” is a murder-mystery comedy set at a high school reunion afterparty. Each of the eight episodes will feature a retelling of the same night told through a different character’s perspective, each with its own unique visual format and film genre to match the teller’s personality.。実話をもとに、暴力団と暴走族が牛耳る街で荒んだ生活を送る暴走族OBの青年・吉田正樹を主人公にした本作。舞台は1996年の埼玉・岩槻だ。あるきっかけで少年刑務所に収監された正樹は、刑務官・杉山と出会う。“灰色の壁”の中で模範囚となった正樹は、長期刑を乗り越え人生のリベンジを決意する。。
